Many VPN providers also use the OpenVPN protocol by default. Our VPN service uses these ports for Firewall configuration: For OpenVPN, we allow connections via TCP or UDP protocols on ports 443 or 1194. The IPVanish software uses port 443; Both PPTP and L2TP need the PPTP & L2TP pass-through options in the firewall/router's management interface to be enabled (if applicable). Run it on both ;) I run instance on UDP 1194, and then one on TCP 443 for those places that have to bounce off a proxy or that might have UDP 1194 blocked. If the place has internet then almost always 443 will be open. But for performance you will normally want to be on UDP, but that can not work off a proxy, etc. So just run 2 instances.

I have setup ssl vpn on port 443. In the past had work but now it isn't working. When I connect from local network both port 443 and 1194 works. When I connect from data from my cellphone on port 443 doesn't work, but if I connect on port 1194 works. I 've checked on two different phones. Can anyone help me what's going on?
