Guaranteed communication over TCP port 920 is the main difference between TCP and UDP. UDP port 920 would not have guaranteed communication as TCP. UDP on port 920 provides an unreliable service and datagrams may arrive duplicated, out of order, or missing without notice.

Hi, By accident, I noticed that the ERL seems to send out a broadcast message on each interface to 255.255.255.255:100001 every thirty seconds. I read somewhere that this is some kind of ubnt discovery protocol, not sure if that's correct though Is there a way to disable this? probably per
